"
Dedicated to Windsor Chair Making"
Colonial Collection |
|
| Home | These chairs are ideal for use in a dining room or large kitchen up against a table, with double-bows or continuous-arms at the ends. The large bow-back is more suited as an individual arm chair, although can still be used at a table. They are made of elm (seat) and oak (everything else). They are normally finished in their natural colour, or darkened slightly by fuming with ammonia. This allows all the natural colour and grain to be seen to its best advantage. | |

| Continuous-arm chair. One of the
most elegant Windsor designs. The steam-bent back forms both the
hands/arms and the back. The seat is similar in shape to the bow back.
Very comfortable. The low arms fit easily under most tables.
